Greenlane Infrastructure, LLC (“Greenlane,” the “Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is committed to protecting the personal information shared with us through our website at www.drivegreenlane.com, user portals, products, services, events, experiences, and mobile applications (our “Sites”). Your privacy is a top priority for Greenlane, and we make every reasonable effort to protect the information we hold about you. This Privacy Policy describes the personal information we collect, how we use the information, and how we protect it.
Please read this policy carefully to understand our policies and practices regarding your information and how we will treat it. If you do not agree with our policies and practices, your choice is not to use our Sites. By accessing or using our Sites, you agree to this privacy policy. This policy may change from time to time (see Changes to Our Privacy Policy). Your continued use of this Sites after we make changes is deemed to be acceptance of those changes, so please check the policy periodically for updates.
Before you disclose to Greenlane another person’s personal information, you must obtain that person’s consent to collection, use, disclosure, and the processing of that personal information in accordance with this policy, and you hereby represent and warrant to Greenlane that you have obtained such consent.
The Greenlane Sites and other digital properties do not knowingly collect personal information from users under age 13 and are in no way directed at children under the age of 13. If you are under the age of 13, please do not submit a request for information, inquiry, or any personal information (including, but not limited to, your name, address, telephone number, e-mail address or any screen name or username you may use) to us. If we learn that information has been submitted, or that we have collected personal information, from a user under the age of 13, we will take immediate steps to delete such information.
Information we collect and how we use it
Greenlane uses information we collect through our Sites to identify you; establish, maintain and service your account; communicate with you; operate, and maintain and improve our business and the products and services we provide. We also use information to interact with prospective, current, and past employees and maintain employment records. For suppliers, vendors, and potential vendors, we collect information we require, including personal information, to consider your application to become a supplier or vendor. We may also use this information to process payments, to comply with any government reporting requirements, and for other internal business purposes. We collect several types of information from and about you, including information:
- By which you may be personally identified, such as name, contact information, and any other identifier by which you may be contacted online or offline that identifies, relates to, describes, references, is reasonably capable of being associated with, or could reasonably be linked, directly or indirectly, with a particular consumer, household, or device (“personal information”);
- About you but individually does not identify you; and
- About your internet connection, the equipment you use to access our Sites, and update details.
We collect this information:
- Directly from you when you provide it to us when:
- Registering with our Sites (including your email address, mobile phone number and other contact information);
- Completing your profile on our Sites (including your name, profile pictures, gender, date of birth, vehicle information, and employment details);
- Subscribing to email notifications and/or newsletters or responding to surveys or questionnaires (including your name, email address, opinions, attitudes, interests, preferences, and more generally, about your activities online);
- Posting on our Sites (including your username, your profile pictures, and the content of your posts);
- Communicating with us (including your name, telephone number, email, location, the communication content and metadata associated with the communication);
- Submitting for human resources, employment, benefits administration, health and safety, and business- and employment-related purposes (including your name, telephone number, email, location, Social Security, passport, driver’s license or other identification numbers, citizenship or immigration status, usernames, account numbers, racial or ethnic origin, gender, and health-related information); and
- Sharing any other information with Greenlane.
- Automatically through cookies, web beacons, and other tracking technologies when you are:
- Navigating through the Sites (including your IP address, geographical location, browser type and version, operating system, referral source, length of visit, page views, behavioral tracking, and website navigation paths);
- Using Greenlane’s services (including vehicle information, the timing, frequency and pattern of EV charging, and location data); and
- Using the services on the site or purchasing Greenlane’s goods and services or any transactions that you enter into through our Sites (including name, contact details, and transaction details but excluding credit card information).
- From third parties, for example, our business partners.
We may collect the personal information and sensitive personal information categories listed in the table below. The table also lists, for each category, whether we share the information with third parties.
To the extent that we collect each personal information category below, we keep this information only for so long as we need it to perform a contract or transaction, maintain our relationship with you, comply with any legal obligations, bring or defend any legal claims, or as otherwise communicated to you. We will not collect additional categories of personal information or use the personal information we collected for materially different, unrelated, or incompatible purposes without providing you notice.
We do not sell personal information. To submit a deletion request or to opt-out of or submit a limitation request related to personal information sharing, please email help@drivegreenlane.com.
Within the last twelve (12) months we have collected and shared or may in the future collect or share the following categories established by the California Privacy Rights Act and other state privacy laws depending on how you engage with the Sites as follows:

How we use the information
We use information that we collect about you or that you provide to us through our Sites for the purposes specified in this policy and the relevant pages of the Sites to:
- Enable, present, and enable our Sites and business and its contents to you;
- Personalize the Sites for you;
- Provide you with information, products, or services that you request from us;
- Provide you with notices about your account, including expiration and renewal notices;
- Post, publish, and otherwise use information that you submit as User Content in accordance with the Terms of Use;
- Carry out our obligations and enforce our rights arising from any contracts entered into between you and us, including for billing and collection;
- Notify you about changes to our Sites or any products or services we offer or provide though it;
- Allow you to participate in interactive features on our Sites;
- Send you email notifications that you have specifically requested;
- Send you non-marketing commercial communications;
- Send you email newsletters, if you have requested it (you can opt out of newsletters at any time);
- Send you marketing communications relating to the Greenlane business or the businesses of affiliated third parties or display advertisements to our advertisers’ target audiences, which we think may be of interest to you, by post or, where you have specifically agreed to this, by email or similar technology (you can opt out of marketing communications at any time);
- Provide third parties with anonymized statistical information about our users;
- Manage inquiries and complaints made by or about you relating to your use of Greenlane’s services;
- Keep our Sites secure, prevent fraud, and verify compliance with the terms and conditions governing the use of Greenlane’s Sites;
- In any other way we may describe when you provide the information; and
- Fulfill any other purpose for which you provide it or any other purpose with your consent.
Greenlane will not, without your express consent, supply your personal information to any third party for the purpose of their or any other third party’s direct marketing. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
All Greenlane Sites’ financial transactions are handled through our payment services provider, Stripe. You can review the provider’s privacy policy at https://stripe.com/privacy. We share information with our payment services provider only to the extent necessary for the purposes of processing payments you make via our Sites, refunding such payments, and dealing with complaints and queries relating to such payments and refunds.
Sharing of personal information
We may share your personal information by disclosing it to a third party for a business purpose. We only make these business purpose disclosures under written agreements that describe the purposes, require the recipient to keep the personal information confidential, and prohibit using the disclosed information for any purpose except performing the contract.
We may disclose aggregated information about our users and information that does not identify any individual without restriction. We may disclose personal information that we collect or you provide as described in this Privacy Policy with your consent or to:
- Any of our employees, officers, insurers, professional advisers, agents, suppliers, service providers, or subcontractors insofar as reasonably necessary for the purposes set out in this policy, including for processing;
- Any member of our group of companies (this means our subsidiaries, affiliates, our ultimate holding company and all its subsidiaries) insofar as reasonably necessary for the purposes set out in this policy;
- Contractors, service providers, and other third parties we use to support our business and who are bound by contractual obligations to keep personal information confidential and use it only for the purposes for which we disclose it to them;
- A buyer (or prospective buyer) or other successor in the event of a merger, divestiture, restructuring, reorganization, dissolution, or other sale or transfer of some or all of Greenlane’s assets, whether as a going concern or as part of bankruptcy, liquidation, or similar proceeding, in which personal information held by Greenlane about our Sites’ users is among the assets transferred;
- Comply with any court order, law, or legal process, including to respond to any government or regulatory request or in connection with any ongoing or prospective legal proceedings;
- In order to establish, exercise, protect, or defend Greenlane’s legal rights (including providing information to others for the purposes of fraud prevention and reducing credit risk), property, safety, customers, or others;
- Enforce or apply our Terms of Use and other agreements, including for billing and collection purposes; and
- Fulfill the purpose for which you provide it or for any other purpose disclosed by us when you provide the information.
Except as provided in this policy, Greenlane will not provide your personal information to third parties.
Your state’s privacy rights and your choices
Your state’s consumer privacy laws may provide you with additional rights regarding our use of your personal information. Certain states provide (now or in the future) their state residents with rights to:
- Confirm whether we process their personal information;
- Access and delete certain personal information;
- Correct inaccuracies in their personal information, taking into account the information’s nature processing purpose;
- Make data portability requests;
- Opt-out of personal data processing for:
- targeted advertising,
- sales, or
- profiling in furtherance of decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects; and
- Either limit (opt-out of) or require consent to process sensitive personal data.
The exact scope of these rights may vary by state. To exercise any of these rights or to appeal a decision regarding a consumer rights request, please contact us at help@drivegreenlane.com. Unless specific state laws require it, you can ask Greenlane to provide you with personal information we hold about you by:
- Providing appropriate evidence and documentation of your identity (g., copy of a valid passport and a current bill showing your address); and
- Paying a fee, currently $25.
We may withhold personal information that you request to the extent permitted by law.
As more fully described in this policy, you will usually have the option to opt out of the use of your information for marketing purposes with the option to instruct Greenlane at any time not to process your personal information for marketing purposes.
Third parties and social media
Some content or applications, including advertisements, on the Sites are served by third parties, including advertisers, ad networks and servers, content providers, and application providers. These third parties may use cookies alone or in conjunction with web beacons or other tracking technologies to collect information about you when you use our Sites. The information they collect may be associated with your personal information or they may collect information, including personal information, about your online activities over time and across different Sites and other online services. They may use this information to provide you with interest-based (behavioral) advertising or other targeted content.
We do not control these third parties’ tracking technologies or how they may be used, however these third parties may provide you with ways to choose not to have your information collected or used in this way. Greenlane is not responsible for the privacy policies and practices of third parties.
To provide you with more options for contacting Greenlane, we have established social media profiles. As these are public forums, you should be aware that any personal information you choose to disclose through those platforms can be read, collected or used by others and that such disclosures are subject solely to the privacy policies and protections of those forums. Greenlane has no control over those forums and, thus, is not responsible for any personal information you may choose to disclose through them. You should also be aware that Greenlane will never disclose, or ask for you to disclose, your non-public, personally identifying information (such as your Social Security number, bank information, etc.) through these public forums. Greenlane recommends that you not submit your non-public, personally identifying information through these avenues. If there is a need for such information, Greenlane will provide you alternative communication methods.
Data security
We have implemented measures designed to secure your personal information from accidental loss and from unauthorized access, use, alteration, and disclosure. We use industry-standard administrative, technical and physical safeguards, and protection practices and controls to ensure the integrity of our systems and to protect your information from loss, misuse, alteration and destruction. All electronic financial transactions entered into through our Sites will be protected by encryption technology.
The safety and security of your information also depends on you. Where we have given you (or where you have chosen) a password for access to certain parts of our Sites, you are responsible for keeping this password confidential. We ask you not to share your password with anyone. We urge you to be careful about giving out information in public areas of the Sites like message boards. The information you share in public areas may be viewed by any user of the Sites.
Unfortunately, the transmission of information via the internet is not completely secure. Although we do our best to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee the security of your personal information transmitted to our Sites. Any transmission of personal information is at your own risk. We are not responsible for circumvention of any privacy settings or security measures contained on the Sites.
Retention of your personal information
Greenlane’s data retention policies and procedures are designed to help ensure that we comply with legal obligations in relation to the retention and deletion of personal information. Personal information we collect for any purpose or purposes will not be kept for longer than is necessary for that purpose or those purposes. Greenlane will then delete or anonymize your personal information.
Notwithstanding the other provisions of this Section, we will retain documents (including electronic documents) containing personal data:
- as required by applicable law;
- if we believe that the documents may be relevant to any ongoing or prospective legal proceedings; and
- to establish, exercise or defend our legal rights (including providing information to others for the purposes of fraud prevention and reducing credit risk).
International data transfers
Information we collect may be stored, accessed, processed, and transferred outside of the United States, in any of the countries in which we operate, or in which our business partners operate in order to enable us to use the information in accordance with this policy.
Personal information that you publish on our Sites may be available, via the internet, around the world, and we cannot prevent the use or misuse of such information by others.
You expressly agree to the transfers of personal information described in this Section.

Changes to our privacy policy
It is our policy to post any changes we make to our privacy policy on this page with a notice that the privacy policy has been updated on the website home page. If we make material changes to how we treat our users’ personal information, we will notify you by email to the primary email address specified in your account or by SMS or within our Sites. The date the Privacy Policy was last revised is identified at the top of the page. You are responsible for ensuring we have an up-to-date active and deliverable email address for you, and for periodically visiting our Sites and this Privacy Policy to check for any changes.
