Frequently Asked Questions

The Greenlane™ network is a joint venture between Daimler Truck North America, LLC, NextEra Energy Resources, LLC and BlackRock Alternatives, through a fund managed by its Climate Infrastructure business, created to design, develop, install and operate a nationwide, high-performance zero-emission public charging and hydrogen fueling network for medium- and heavy-duty battery-electric and hydrogen fuel cell vehicles.

Greenlane™ transportation energy solutions addresses the urgent need for publicly available, nationwide electric charging and hydrogen refueling infrastructure for commercial vehicles, especially for long-haul freight operations, and is a critical step toward developing a sustainable zero-emission vehicle ecosystem across North America.

The network of charging sites will first be built on critical freight routes along the east and west coasts and in Texas with plans to expand the network nationwide.

Greenlane™ transportation energy solutions will offer affordable, dependable, en-route, high-speed charging and hydrogen refueling infrastructure using carbon free energy. Driving electric and fuel cell vehicles that charge and refuel at GreenlaneTM sites will eliminate tail-pipe emissions and drive the growth of carbon-free electricity generation and hydrogen production.
